Kolač sa limunom i šne * Lemon Meringue Pie

Nešto divno sa limunom, dok ne napravite mogu vam samo opisati kako je divno, kiselkasto slatko, kremasto i prhko. Prava gozba za nepce


Sastojci
Kora
250 g brašna
1 jaje
120 g omekšalog putera
2 kašičice vanila ekstrakta
90 g šećera u prahu

Fil

4 Limuna ( sok i rendana korica)
4 jaja ( žumanca)
2 Kašike gustina
150 g šećera

Šne

4 belanca
100 g šećera u prahu

Priprema

Testo


Sipamo brašno , šećer u prahu, mek puter i vanilu u činiju, pa rukama napravimo mrvice. Dodamo jaje i umesimo meko testo.
Izručimo na plastićnu foliju, zamotamo i ostavimo u frižideru oko 1 sat ili duže


Izvadimo testo i razvijemo dosta tanko oko 5 mm.
Prekrijemo okruglu tepsiju i rasporedimo testo, dobro pritiskajući u sve uglove.
Ostavimo ponovo u frižider oko sat vremena.

Zatim izvadimo, pokrijemo vrh pek papirom pa uspemo pirinač i stavimo da se slepo peče na 180stepeni C ,oko 15 minuta.


Zatim izvadimo odstranimo pek papir i pirinač( koji kasnije možete iskoristiti), pa pečemo jo' oko 5 minuta.

Sada uspemo fil na to i  smanjimo temperaturu na 150 stepeni C i pečemo još oko 20 minuta.





Fil

Umutimo žumanca i šećer dodamo sok od limuna i rendanu koricu. U 1/3 šolje  mleka razmutimo2 Kašike gustina pa dodamo u činiju. Sve dobro umutimo.


Šne

Umutimo čvrsto belanca i šećer pa kad je kolač gotov sipamo šne na njega . Vrlo kratko vratimo u rernu da se šne zarumeni.

Lemon meringue Pie




Another family favorite. And lucky with all these lemons in the garden. It is such a great pie. Creamy, lemony, sweet and crunchy.


Ingredients

Crust

250 g flour
1 egg
90 g icing sugar
120 g soft butter
2 tsp vanilla extract

Filling

4 egg yolks
4 lemons, zest, and juice
2 Tablespoons corn flour
150 g sugar

Meringue

4 eggwhites
100 g icing sugar


Create

Crust

Mix flour sugar and soft butter with your fingers till you have fine crumbs.Add 1 egg and mix to a dough.
Put the dough in plastic foil, wrap and leave in the fridge for at least one hour.

Roll out the pastry , line your pie tin and leave it in the fridge again for an hour

Preheat oven to 180 Degrees C.

After resting, cover the dough with baking paper, put some rice on it ( you can still use rice afterward) and
bake blind for approx 15 minutes. Remove rice and baking paper and bake crust for another 5 minutes.


Filling

Beat egg yolks with sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Add 2 Tablespoons of corn flour which you have dissolved in 1/3 cup milk.
When the crust is ready pour the filling into it. Lower temperature to 150 Degrees C and bake for approx 20 minutes till the filling has set.

Meringue

Beat egg whites and sugar stiff. Pour over yourl emon pie and put back in the oven for about 5 minutes till meringue is light brown.
